Admin/Biog History The establishment of the Bargman Memorial Scholar Series was announced by Dr. Richard C. Hertz and the Executive Board of Temple Beth El on July 1, 1964. The lecture series, made possible by a generous grant from Mrs. Theodore Bargman in memory of her late husband Theodore Bargman, continues to underwrite the annual Scholar series at Temple Beth El that began in 1960. Topics are relevant to Jewish culture, religion, literature and political issues.
