The Religious Textiles Collection contains primarily Torah Mantles, most of which are embroidered with either English or Hebrew dedications to Temple members. Other items include such textiles as the Torah Ark Curtain, Tefilin, Seder, and Talitot Bags, and Matzah Covers. While the items in this collection cannot be specifically dated, they have been placed into three chronological groups based on stylistic decoration and comparison, ranging from older velvet or satin Torah Mantles to more current Kippahs.
