Abstract	The Family Files Collection consists of individual family file folders. The family folders contain biographical and historical information on family members. These folders contain photographs, clippings, correspondence, biographical sketches, Irving Katz articles and notes, programs, and ephemera.
Admin/Biog History	The Family File Collection was deposited in the Archives by Temple Beth El members, their families and staff. The Family Files consists of Temple Beth El members and prominent members of the Jewish community in Detroit and Michigan. The Files also contain biographical files on community leaders and individuals that have been connected to Temple Beth El and the Jewish community. Clergy and staff files are kept separately.
