Henrietta Szold founded the national Hadassah movement in 1912. In 1916, Szold visited Detroit and began a local chapter. The Greater Detroit Chapter of Hadassah raises monetary donations to assist in the health and security of the people of Israel, and to fund local, charitable projects . The collection contains administrative, insurance, and financial documents, and materials promotiong charitable events. |
